I just realised that not everybody may be used to reading eBooks, so I made this little guide.
Why choose an eBook when you could have a paperback? Digital books have a few advantages of their own:
- Adjust the text to suit you – choose the font, text size and layout.
- Read on different devices – for example, start on a tablet at home and continue later on your smartphone.
- Keep everything synchronised – your reading position, notes and bookmarks can follow you from one device to another.
- Carry thousands of books with you – without taking up any physical space.
- Reduce the need for paper, printing and shipping – for readers who already use a digital device, eBooks can offer a lower-impact alternative to printed books.
Most eBooks can be read on a PC, Mac, smartphone, tablet, or compatible eReader.*
- Choose a book and click on the retailer link.
- Sign in or create an account at the retailer site.
- Buy or borrow the eBook.**
- To read, download the retailer’s app, or use their web reader or eReader.
- Log in to your account in the reading app or device and go to your Library.***
That’s it – it’s as easy as that! If you’re in Korea and want to read the eBook Youngho and Chadori, Korean–English Bilingual Edition, I recommend Google Play Books or Kobo.
